Office of Research Ethics

UBC's Office of Research Ethics oversees and manages the process of reviewing and approving research involving human participants, and compliance with US financial conflict of interest regulations.  They offer one-on-one consultations as well as workshops, extensive guidance, and online training materials to support graduate students preparing their research ethics applications.
