Notes on Eligibility
Holders of the Vordiplom or Zwischenprufung are not eligible for graduate admission.
Holders of the Diplom FH will be considered for admission on a case-by-case basis.
The old diploma programs are still being offered in some fields such as engineering and medicine.
These programs require a minimum of five years of study leading to a diploma (e.g. Diplom-Ingenieur).
ECTS Credit System
3-year bachelor degrees for master's degree admission and 5-year master's degrees for doctoral degree admission are accepted at UBC. Please note that some countries may have both the old academic degrees and the new ECTS degrees.
