Bowen Xiao
Postdoctoral Fellow
My general research interests are in the areas of children’s socio-emotional functioning and developmental psychopathology. In particular, I am interested in childhood social withdrawal, parenting, and peoples’ attitude about shyness, especially their implicit attitudes toward shy behaviour. I am also interested in exploring the online risks associated with cyberbullying, as well as privacy-related concerns due to the over-disclosure of personal information online.
