Why did you decide to pursue a graduate degree?
This MHSc degree will be the key to a successful academic and clinical career as a general surgeon
Why did you decide to study at UBC?
UBC is a world renowned university in the best city of the world.
What do you hope to accomplish with your research?
I hope to conduct research towards evaluating and improving surgical techniques that will benefit health outcomes in all aspects including disease outcomes and quality of life of patients.
What are your future career goals?
In ten years I want to be a general surgeon in BC.
What has been your most memorable Vancouver experience so far?
After a hard day of studying I recharge with a couple of ski runs on Mount Seymour.
What advice do you have for new graduate students?
Don\'t hesitate to look into a great academic experience in one of the greatest cities of the world!
