This webinar will provide a detailed overview of the Vanier, Canada Graduate Scholarships – Doctoral (CGS D) program and related upcoming doctoral award competitions. It will review eligibility criteria, competition details, as well as application procedures.
Who should attend?
Full-time, research-based domestic and international students who are:
- Master’s students planning to undertake a PhD program in May 2024, September 2024 or January 2025 or
- PhD students who are currently starting the first, second or third year of their program.
There will be time for Q&A.
Note: "Applying for Scholarships for Your Master's Program" session will be offered on October 26th, 2023. Registration will open on October 16th, 2023.
Facilitator
Brendan Morey is the Assistant Dean, Student Administration and Awards, in the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies, with many years of experience overseeing scholarship competitions and collaborating with funding agencies across Canada.

General registration opens on Monday, July 24th at 9 am.
