Applications are invited for a full-time Postdoctoral Research Fellow position in the Stoeber Laboratory at the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of British Columbia (UBC) in Vancouver, Canada. The position is available starting August 2025 for at least 1 year.
The research project will focus on the extraction of bodily fluids for off-device analysis. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. and have ideally demonstrated expertise in the areas of experimental microflow physics, flow characterization techniques, and the design of experimental setups and microfluidic devices. Candidates with additional expertise in handling biological materials are especially encouraged to apply. Successful candidates will engage in independent work in collaboration with the Kizhakkedathu Research Group and the industry sponsor of this project.
