A change in the educational system has resulted in the abolition of the Advanced-level examinations and adoption of the 8-4-4 pattern of education. As of 1990-91, students admitted to Kenyan universities will be required to complete the four-year Bachelor's degree. An additional year of study is typically required for professional programs.
Applicants from a university in Kenya are usually not required to provide results of an English language proficiency examination as part of their application. Please note that graduate programs have the right to request a language test when deemed necessary, even if the language of instruction has been English. Read more
