The main reason to pursue graduate studies at UBC is to receive outstanding education from professionals and knowledgeable and resourceful lecturers.
What key things did you do, or what attitudes or approaches did you have, that contributed to your success?
Key points for my success that I would advise to others: being respectful to your teachers and academic representatives, being open to volunteering, and creating and seizing any opportunities for networking.
What is your best piece of advice for current graduate students preparing for their future careers?
Beside being concentrated on their studies, I would advise students to be open minded and to seize opportunities for skills related to their main study field.
