Stigma & Resilience Among Vulnerable Youth Centre (SARAVYC)
At SARAVYC, we believe in research that makes a difference and focuses on resilience. Since 2006, we’ve been conducting rigorous, cutting-edge, and award-winning research that studies how stigma, discrimination, violence, and trauma affect young people’s health. Our goal is to identify factors that foster youth resilience in spite of stigma.
By collaborating with youth and their communities, we aim to develop culturally and contextually relevant interventions that not only improve health outcomes and equity for youth, but also influence policies and practices worldwide.
