A message to the UBC community about the situation in Afghanistan

Many in the university community have been watching the situation in Afghanistan, and have expressed concern for those in the community with ties to Afghanistan.

The Office of the Vice-Provost International has issued a statement detailing some of the immigration and funding supports available. One of these supports is the waiving of application fees for any prospective graduate students applying from Afghanistan. We encourage UBC students, faculty and staff to reach out and access supports available should they need help during these difficult times.
