Preparing for UBC Career Days As a Grad Student

Make the most of UBC Career Days (Oct 7 and 8) by approaching this career fair with a clear plan and purpose. UBC Career Days is a two-day event that features over 75 employers from various industries, eager to engage with students and alumni to share career opportunities and insights. Check out the event details and the list of exhibitors here.

This session is part of the Career Workshop Series. Participants will benefit from attending multiple workshops in the series, but they can choose to attend only those that best fit their interests and availability.

Facilitator

Rebecca Dirnfeld, MA, is a Career Educator who works with the UBC Career Centre to support graduate students at UBC. She has a Career and Work Counselling Diploma from George Brown College. Her past experience includes leading the graduate student career education portfolio for graduate studies and managing the MBA careers team at Toronto Metropolitan University, and in providing career advising to business students as a team member of SFU’s Beedie Career Management Centre. Rebecca is also a part-time graduate student in UBC’s EDST MA program.
