Annual Progress Report for Fellowship Holders
All multi-year fellowship holders should make systematic and consistent progress in their research. An annual research progress report, detailing the achievements of the previous year and the objectives for the next year, is required by the federal research councils (i.e., CIHR, NSERC, and SSHRC) and UBC. Failure to submit a progress report will result in award payments being suspended until a satisfactory progress report is received.
Multi-year fellowships can include Tri-Agency scholarships and fellowships (such as CIHR, NSERC, SSHRC, and Vanier), Killam Doctoral Fellowships, Four Year Fellowships, Aboriginal Graduate Fellowships, and Affiliated Fellowships.
Deadlines for submission of progress reports are based on fellowship start dates:
- June 1 for awards started in September
- November 15 for awards started in January
- March 15 for awards started in May
