As of September 2024, all non-tuition awards are paid in 3 equal installments at the start of each term (except for a very small group of exceptions; e.g., awards with unusual start and end dates)
Tuition awards will continue to be offered as 2/3 of the full year value (Winter term 1 and 2), as UBC Senate approves changes in tuition rates that take effect each spring (which is effective for the Summer term). The final 1/3 of the annual value of tuition awards will be assigned in April of each year for the Summer term.
