UBC’s new student information system is now available. Workday Student is the core student system and is supported by an ecosystem of applications for things like tuition payment and awards. Everything you need to do starts in Workday Student.
All graduate students have been notified about how to access Workday Student. Visit the Workday Student Support page for more information, technical support, and how to guides that walk you through how to update personal details in Workday. Graduate Studies recommends you login and update your information prior to course registration on June 4.
The Workday Student Support page for graduate students also contains tutorials specifically written for graduate students, terminology and troubleshooting information.
Current students: your courses, grades and credits have been moved from the SISC to Workday. Some discrepancies in these records have been identified and are being fixed. Impacted students will be notified of any discrepancies directly.
Contact your graduate program office for inquiries related to registration, course planning and general Workday Student support (e.g. where to find information in Workday Student, issues accessing Workday Student, updating your academic record).
You may notice some functionality isn't available yet - these features will be rolled out in a phased approach and will come online in the coming weeks and months.
The launch of this new system is a major change impacting all people, data and processes that underpin our student systems. Bumps and challenges, including some data quality issues, are anticipated for a system implementation of this size. We appreciate your patience as we transition to a renewed student system together.
