From May 22 to 30, 2024, more than 1,820 graduate students will be graduating at the Chan Centre. In all, there are 1,532 Master's and 293 PhD graduands who have earned the right to cross the stage at convocation, from nearly every faculty and discipline. The Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies (G+PS) Office wishes them the best in all their future endeavours.
This year's graduates include:
- Governor General’s Gold Medal (PhD) Recipient Christopher Waddell
- Carlos Norcia Morais (MFA), who will be speaking to the graduates of the Master of Fine Arts In Creative Writing program
- Mahnan Omar (MPPGA), who will be speaking to the graduates of the Master of Public Policy and Global Affairs program
On Saturday, May 25, starting at 11am, the First Nations House of Learning will be hosting a graduation celebration at the First Nations Longhouse to honour participating Indigenous graduates from the Spring Class of 2024. Visit their website for livestream details.
