Many students in research-based programs (Master's and PhD) wonder about what career paths they might pursue if they decide not to continue in academia. It can be daunting to consider what types of careers are out there, and how to connect these jobs to the skills and knowledge gained through a research-based program. This session will provide strategies for identifying possible career paths, and assessing those options, as well as leveraging a research-based program for a variety of career paths.

Rebecca is also a part-time graduate student in UBC’s EDST MA program.
