Graduate Studies Online Application

Graduate Studies Online Application

What You Need: About 30 to 45 Minutes

Allow yourself 30 to 45 minutes to complete the online application. In order to submit an application to a graduate program, you must first create an account using your email address as your username. This account will allow you to save your application and continue it at a later date, as well as work on multiple applications at the same time.

For security reasons, you'll be automatically logged out of the application if you take more than 45 minutes on any one page. If this happens, you'll have to to resume your application by clicking on the Un-Submitted link at the left hand navigation bar. Applications that aren't completed within 21 days are deleted from the system.

What You Need: A Credit Card (Visa or Mastercard)

A non-refundable application fee is required for each program to which you apply. The online application accepts Visa and Mastercard.

The application fee is waived for international applicants whose citizenship and correspondence address is located in one of the world's 50 least developed countries, as declared by the United Nations. For more information, see Application Fee and Countries Eligible for Application Fee Waiver. If you are eligible for the fee waiver, you will not be asked for a fee when you complete the online application.

Students applying to graduate programs in the Department of Chemistry are not required to pay an application fee. The fee is paid for by the department. This occurs automatically when you submit your application.

What You Need: Technical Talk

To ensure the privacy of your information, the electronic application form uses security that will only work with recent versions (4.0 or higher) of Netscape Navigator or Microsoft Internet Explorer.

This application also requires that your web browser has 'cookies' enabled. Web servers use cookies (tiny text files of less than 255 characters) to store very basic information on your computer. Without this information, the security functions of the application can't determine who you are, or allow you access to certain pages or areas on the site. Cookies aren't a threat to security; they aren't visible to any server except the server that set them.
