Final Doctoral Examination

The Final Doctoral Examination is the culmination of years of research and writing. It is last step toward the conferral of the doctoral degree.

The UBC Doctoral Examination process aims to provide the candidate with the opportunity to showcase his/her work and have it probed deeply by members of the academic community, both at UBC and beyond.

We are proud of the excellent work that UBC doctoral candidates contribute to their fields and wish them the greatest success in the examination process.
