Chan Centre for the Performing Arts
Classical music and opera are regularly performed at this great venue. Watch out for the free concerts from the School of Music.
Belkin Art Gallery
This art gallery features contemporary art. Through exhibitions, publications, lectures and symposia, the Gallery’s programs emphasize research, teaching, and scholarship in areas ranging from BC art history to international contemporary art.
UBC Botanical Gardens
There are 44 hectares of garden and 10,000 different plants located close to our research facilities and student housing.
Rose Garden
This spot offers stunning views over the Strait of Georgia.
Nitobe Japanese Garden & Tea Ceremonies
The Nitobe Garden was named one of the most authentic Japanese gardens in North America and offers visitors quiet serenity in the middle of campus.
Thunderbird Arena
This facility was completely renovated for the 2010 Olympic Games (ice hockey and sledge hockey). It has a full-size ice rink, and offers hockey games and other major events.
