J.A. Campbell Research Award Likely January 2018 A grant to a maximum of $25,000 is offered for research projects in Canada related to Celiac Disease and/or Gluten Sensitivity. The CCA is open to all types of relevant research and is not restricted to medical research.

Centre for Applied Ethics Graduate Fellowship Thursday, 1 February 2018 The fellowship will provide a one-time annual stipend of $20,000 plus a research-related allowance of $1,500. Relevant topics for this fellowship include but are not limited to: bioethics, business ethics, environmental ethics, public health ethics, and health inequities.
Kawasaki Disease Canada Student Research Award Likely February 2018 The Kawasaki Disease Canada Student Research Award recognizes excellence in student research related to any aspect of Kawasaki disease. Research may be bio-medical, clinical, educational, epidemiological or psycho-social in nature. The research may form part of a larger research project/program, but there must be a portion clearly attributable to the applicant.

The Talent Award is given to an individual who maintains academic excellence, has a talent for research and knowledge mobilization and has demonstrated clear potential to be a future leader within and/or outside the academic sector. Organization of American States (OAS) Fellowships Programs Likely March 2018 Academic scholarships are awarded to undertake graduate studies that lead to a degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) and/or graduate research at a university or higher learning institution in an OAS Member State. The competition is open to students in all disciplines (natural sciences, engineering, humanities, social sciences and arts). Scholarships are not offered for studies in the medical sciences and the learning of new languages.
