Gonthier Research Fellowship Likely March 2019 The Canadian Institute for the Administration of Justice provides funds for a $7500 Research Fellowship in order to support research related to the Institute's annual conference theme. The completed research is expected to be presented at the Institute’s annual conference and published with its proceedings. Open to faculty and graduate students at Canadian universities.
Bullitt Environmental Fellowship Monday, 1 April 2019 Bullitt Environmental Fellowship is awarded each year to an outstanding graduate student at a university in the Pacific Northwest who has a strong academic record, a demonstrated capacity for leadership, the promise of emerging as an environmental leader, and a faculty nomination. Students of color, those who come from a disadvantaged background, or who have overcome significant hardship are highly encouraged to apply for this award.
MCC Canadian Japanese-Mennonite Scholarship Monday, 1 April 2019 The Canadian Japanese-Mennonite Scholarship is intended to assist the protection of minority and human rights in Canada, and reduce the potential for abuse of cultural minorities such as that suffered by Japanese Canadians during World War II.

CGS/ProQuest Distinguished Dissertation Award Graduate program nomination deadline: likely June 2019 These awards are made to individuals who have completed PhD dissertations representing original work that makes an unusually significant contribution to the discipline. Graduate programs may submit up to two nominations: one in Mathematics, Physical Sciences and Engineering and one in Social Sciences. To be eligible, the nominee must have completed her or his doctoral degree requirements in the period of July 1, 2016 to June 30, 2018, inclusive. (Note: The CGS/ProQuest Award operates on a two-year cycle with regard to fields of competition. The fields of competition for 2019 will be Biological/Life Sciences and Humanities.)
