Research Options

I am available and interested in collaborations (e.g. clusters, grants).

I am a highly motivated and enthusiastic professor with extensive experience in teaching English as an additional language. Since 2013, I have had a permanent appointment as a Professor at the Department of Modern Foreign Languages at Universidade Federal da Paraíba (UFPB) - João Pessoa - PB – Brazil. I am currently on a leave and working as a Postdoctoral Fellow at LLED, UBC, where I have been doing research on teacher education policy for ELL in BC. I consider as strengths my knowledge and experience in English teachers’ preparation to work in the public and private education system, and my interpersonal skills, particularly in the areas of supervision and mentorship for teaching and research.
