International Student Evaluation Manual

The Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies provides the International Evaluation Manual to help faculty and staff screen applicants for admission to graduate programs. The manual outlines, for each country or territory:

  • minimum admission requirements
  • names and descriptions of degrees (in original language where applicable)
  • common grading scale
  • list of recognized accredited institutions
  • minimum first-class requirements

The full manual for staff and faculty is located at and requires a CWL account with staff or faculty role. Students cannot access this resource. The manual is accessible from anywhere as long as a user authenticates with an appropriate CWL account.

Information relevant for students is published on our main website in the Application & Admission section.
