This webinar will provide a detailed overview of the Vanier, CGSD and related upcoming doctoral award competitions. It will review eligibility criteria, competition details, as well as application procedures.
Who should attend? Full-time, research-based domestic and international students who are:
- Master’s students planning to undertake a PhD program in May 2023, September 2023 or January 2024 or
- PhD students who are currently starting the first, second or third year of their program.

Facilitator
Brendan Morey is the Assistant Dean, Student Administration and Awards, in the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies, with many years of experience overseeing scholarship competitions and collaborating with funding agencies across Canada.

This session is open to incoming or continuing UBC graduate students.
