This session is part of Thrive week.  Thrive is a mindset and a week-long series of events, Oct 30 - Nov 3, 2017, focused on building positive mental health for everyone at UBC. Check out other Thrive events at thrive.ubc.ca/.

Life as a graduate student can be stressful, and stress can impact your ability to feel good and achieve success. This workshop teaches the skills you need to balance your academic achievements with physical and mental wellness. You will learn tips and tricks to manage stress, time, and wellbeing as a graduate student.

By the end of this training, you will be able to:

  • Apply proactive strategies to improve your sleep, stress management, time management, and mindfulness.
  • Identify the key on and off-campus resources that provide assistance in developing skills and reaching goals in the above areas

Registration opens on Monday, October 23 at 9:00am.

Priority will be given to UBC graduate students registered in the current academic session. Confirmation of registration will be sent within two working days.
