Applying for the Canada Graduate Research Scholarship - Doctoral (CGRS-D) in fall 2026?

This webinar will walk you through the competition details and give you a detailed overview of the procedures as outlined on the CGRS-D program page

(Note: this is NOT a grant proposal writing workshop. Additionally, questions about writing and formatting techniques specific to your academic field may be best directed to your supervisor or program advisor.)

Facilitators

Brendan Morey is the Assistant Dean, Student Administration and Awards, at Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies at UBC-V, with many years of experience overseeing scholarship competitions and collaborating with funding agencies across Canada.

Bree Wilson is the Graduate Awards Coordinator at Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies at UBC-V. She supports students and program staff throughout the CGRS-D and the CGRS-M application cycles.
