Writing grant applications is an essential part of your academic and research career—and for most graduate students, fellowships are one of the first opportunities to secure funding their own research.
But how can you make your application stand out in a stack of hundreds? Or how can use the stressful application process to enhance your grant application writing skills?
In this session, we will break down the foundational components of a successful fellowship proposal and discuss common pitfalls that one should avoid. You’ll also gain more insight into the “behind-the-scenes” of the application review process, from the perspective of the adjudication committee.
Note: All participants should come with at least one funding opportunities identified, and having reviewed the fellowship and application criteria ahead of time.
