Overwhelmed by the ever-growing to-do list? Not sure if your organizational system is working? Or maybe the notion of “being productive” itself is starting to stress you out?
As a grad student, you’re probably trying to balance some combination of seminars, labs, papers, chores, family, parenting, caregiving, teaching, working, and several other academic, professional or personal commitments. You may also have attended workshops aimed at helping you “get better at time management” or read an online post or article titled “Top 5 Hacks to Manage your Time More Efficiently!”.
If you’re finding yourself wishing there were more than 24 hours in a day, or feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or frustrated, you are not alone. And often, it’s easier to get started when you feel less alone.
Recommended Prerequisites
We strongly recommend taking some time to review or work through the following beforehand, to make the most of this session:
- Planning & Goal-Setting Workshop Recording + Handouts (~1 hr)
- Summer Planning Toolkit (20-30 mins)
