• The MITACS Elevate Industrial Fellowship Program offers funding toward research in an industry setting and includes a large training component to help develop skills needed for future careers
• The American Physiological Society offers a broad range of online courses that focus on skills useful in academia
• ScienceOnline Vancouver offers monthly discussion series exploring how online communication and social media impact current scientific research and how the general public learns about it
