GPA Calculators

Calculating GPAs for admission purposes

For domestic students, calculate the GPA using only senior level (300 and 400-level) courses. For international students, calculate the GPA using all grades listed on the transcript(s).

For UBC transcripts, use the SISC to help you calculate the GPA. SISC has a built in average calculator. Under the student menu select Academic and then Grades. Sort the list by course level and highlight all 300 and 400-level courses by following the instructions on the left side of the screen just below the "Turn on average calculator" button. Use your mouse with the CTRL or Shift key to highlight courses, turn on the calculator, press the "Calculate Average" button and voilà!

This Excel GPA Calculator will help you to calculate the Grade Point Average (GPA) for non-UBC student transcripts.
