Fonts

Font choice:

• must be appropriate for an academic paper
• must use the same font throughout the thesis

Size:

• equivalent to 10 to 12 point font in Times New Roman or Arial for main text
• at least 2mm high in tables and figures

Colour:

• must be black throughout, except for web links

Italics:

Please used italics sparingly, and bear in mind that they are not very effective for distinguishing headings.
