My study looks at Japanese art produced during the Second World War.

What impact do you hope your research will have?: 

I hope to influence the way in which we discuss the relationship between war and art.

Why did you decide to pursue a graduate degree?: 

I wanted to explore my topic further.

Why did you choose to come to British Columbia and study at UBC?: 

Excellent faculty members, great Asia-related materials.

Do you have any tips for students from your home country coming to Canada / to UBC Grad School?: 

Get used to the weather/food in Canada!

What has been your most memorable Vancouver experience so far?: 

Beautiful scenery.
