Programme "Retour Post-Doctorants"

Quick Facts

Completing a postdoctoral position outside of France is a major asset for the scientific careers of young French researchers and also for young foreign researchers who defended their thesis in France. The return to France of these young researchers is essential to the development of research excellence in France. The program "Retour post-doc" is specifically designed to facilitate their return. The program runs through calls for proposals open in all scientific disciplines, including social sciences and humanities. The winners are offered funding which allows them to pursue their research project on the French territory for a maximum period of three years.
