Post Doctoral Research Fellowships (PDRF) 2012-2013

Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada, is pleased to announce the launch of the Post Doctoral Research Fellowships, tenable in the 2012-2013 academic year.

The Canadian Commonwealth Scholarship Program (CCSP) and the Canada-Mexico Awards, the Government of Canada offer one-year post-doctoral research fellowships.

Fellowships have a value of $36,500 CDN (taxable). These fellowships will provide research opportunities to promising recent doctoral graduates in the natural sciences and engineering, social sciences and humanities. Canada will award approximately 40 to 50 fellowships to selected candidates from 12 countries.

Applicants must be citizens of one of the following countries: Brazil, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Norway, Republic of Korea, Russia or Switzerland.

Iconic Canadian Landmark Buildings

Two Vancouver landmarks - the Museum of Anthropology and Robson Square, both on UBC campus - are among four buildings that won the 2011 Prix du XXe Siècle Award for 'enduring excellence in Canadian architecture'. Both buildings house teaching facilities such as the Laboratory of Archaeology.
