The Faculty of Graduate Studies
Overview
The Faculty of Graduate Studies is responsible for ensuring the academic quality and integrity of graduate programs, managing centralized administrative services for graduate students, and providing a supportive and equitable environment for faculty and students alike. It is bound by university policies related to graduate students as published in the UBC calendar.
The provision of administrative services, such as application, admission, registration, and record keeping for graduate students, requires close cooperation between the Faculty of Graduate Studies (affectionately known as FoGS) and the graduate advisors and secretaries in each program.
