UBC Robson Square welcomes 13 world-renowed Canada Excellence Research Chairs for a rare public lecture series on February 15, 2012.

Each CERC Chairholder will deliver a brief, pecha kucha-style lecture that highlights their important translational research in a variety of scientific fields. This is a tremendous opportunity for students and postdocs to meet leading some of Canada's leading scientists.

The CERC Program supports Canadian universities in their efforts to build on the country’s growing reputation as a global leader in research and innovation. The program has awarded 18 world-renowned researchers and their teams up to $10 million over seven years to establish ambitious research programs at Canadian universities.
