Demographics - Full Time / Part Time

** Please note:  The FT/PT data has not been updated for 2011.  We are considering removing this area of data as we have seen little activity on this page.  Options are:  1) Mantain FT/PT data, 2) Remove FT/PT data, and 3) Replace with FTE data (Full Time Equivalency).  If you have any comments please contact us (Louise.Mol@ubc.ca). **

The following tables and charts show full time/part time distribution for graduate students at UBC from 1991 - 2009 Winter Session (November snapshots).  Full time/part time status for the purposes of this analysis was determined in the following manner:

Doctoral Students - All Doctoral students were considered full time

Master's Students - Master's students were considered Full Time if they were registered in a thesis course or taking more than one course for the term in question. If Master's students were not registered in a thesis course or were taking fewer than two courses, they were considered part time. "Continuing" status was used for those students not registered in any course work.
