The following tables and charts show Citizenship for graduate students at UBC from 1991 - 2011 Winter Session (November snapshots) where students citizenship was known.

From 1991 - 2011, Asia has remained predominant with an average 47.67% of international graduate students coming from this region. For the 2011 Winter Session, Asia represented 51.9% of the total international graduate population at UBC, followed by the United States at 22.48% and Europe at 12.9%. Overall, international graduate students represented 28.38% of the whole graduate student population.
